The mission of this society is to establish, institutionalize Neonatal and pediatric surgeries research, treatment in Bangladesh.

Mission & Vision
- APSB is dedicated to the noble cause of relieving pain and sufferings of surgical children in Bangladesh and in the world.
- The association is committed to improve pediatric surgical services in Bangladesh and to take the latest techniques in the field of paediatric surgery and its sub specialities to the remotest parts of the country.
- To enhance the capacity of the pediatric surgeons for timely and effective care of the patients, the association is currently organizing yearly national and international conferences and different meetings seminars and live operative.
- APSB is also interacting regularly with health policymakers to enhance the capacity of Pediatric Surgery in terms of human resources and infrastructure and to ensure more employment opportunities for pediatric surgeons.
- APSB is working towards convincing the concerned authorities to increase the space of pediatric surgery in the undergraduate curriculum.
- The association is endeavoring to create adequate exposure and familiarity among MBBS students and intern doctors in this field and to pursue a career in pediatric surgery.
- APSB is driving towards more public awareness that will earn the specialty its due recognition and ensure bright prospects for future doctors.
